San Diego MSP seeking full time Support Person to provide L1-L3 support for our SMB clients in San Diego, CA. You must be interested in joining a subjectively fun, high paced team, for a long-term position. We intend to stay small and profitable allowing for a higher earning potential amongst a tight-knit group.
As you know, I.T. happens after hours so applicant must be available to work after hours and/or weekends from time to time if necessary. This position requires candidate to be an early-riser at your desk and responding to tickets at 6am (Pacific).
This will include but is not limited to:
- Interfacing with clients via RMM tools as well as onsite at client offices within San Diego County.
- Design, install, support, maintain, troubleshoot client infrastructure (servers, workstations, routers, firewalls, etc.)
- Respond to service requests and repair the malfunctioning equipment/software in a timely manner
- Create/improve Technical Service Group standards and implementation methods
- Update tickets as they are in-progress and create/update technical documentation
- Some lifting of computer equipment may be required
- Driving to client locations will be required from time to time
- Ambitious, self-starter,
- Proficiency with Windows Servers, Windows Client OS's, Office 365, Active Directory, Virtualization
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti, Fortinet, SonicWall, Dell, VMWare or similar technologies
- Proficiency with switches, firewalls, IP routing, network security, VOIP, and application troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Cloud, including Azure/Entra, Microsoft 365, AWS
- Superior troubleshooting skills are a must
- Must be fast learner with good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- 2+ Years of network experience- One or more IT certifications/training (VMWARE, Azure, Windows Server 2016/2019/2022)
- 2-3 years MSP Experience Preferred
- San Diego MSP experience is a plus
- Candidate must live in San Diego area
- Good driving record, reliable vehicle, and flexible hours required
