Mason Private Locating specializes in private utility locating, ground penetrating radar (GPR), sub-surface utility engineering (SUE) services, robotic pipe inspections, and cross-bore mitigation. As a trusted partner across the Midwest, we are growing—and we’re looking for a driven, organized, and relationship-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our remote team.

Mason Private Locating is actively seeking a driven and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team.. We are looking for a "hunter" — a passionate and motivated sales professional who excels at building relationships, solving problems, and driving business growth in a competitive environment. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective and current clients, helping them understand the value of private utility locating. You’ll work closely with leadership to qualify leads, build customer relationships, and drive revenue growth—all from a remote setting.
Responsibilities
•Prospect and qualify inbound and outbound leads via phone, email, and CRM tools
•Schedule and coordinate discovery calls with Leadership
•Follow up with prospects to move opportunities through the sales pipeline
•Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in CRM
•Prepare proposals based on client needs and project timelines
•Work with Leadership to ensure smooth project handoff and customer satisfaction
•Support marketing campaigns and assist with lead generation follow-up
•Provide feedback from customers to improve services and processes
Requirements
•Sales Drive: A “hunter” mentality with a passion for sales, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong drive to achieve goals.
•Independent & Team-Oriented: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized with a strong attention to detail; able to work independently but also collaborate with a team.
•Proven Success: Demonstrated success in inside sales, with a track record of developing new business in a competitive market.
•Industry Experience: Experience in selling services, particularly in the construction, utility, or related sectors, is preferred.
•Bonus Experience: Previous experience in utility locating, construction services, or materials sales is a plus but not required.
•Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
•Problem-Solving: Ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
