IT HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

The IT Help Desk Technician in our Phoenix, AZ office, provides software and network support, user training, and troubleshooting across multiple platforms. This hands-on role involves hardware setup, software installation, and remote or onsite user assistance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

+ Performs hardware/software upgrades to existing computer equipment as needed + Configures and ships new workstations, laptops, and surface tablets to their respective operations unit. + Responds to software problem calls on site or over the phone for users + Select and purchase PC and server level hardware as well as networked devices and all related equipment + Assemble, install and repair all computer hardware and related equipment + Design, install and maintain data backup systems and disaster recovery

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

+ High school Diploma or equivalent + Strong oral and written communication skills + Excellent interpersonal skills + Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects + Customer service oriented + The physical activity required for this role includes:

- Sitting for extended periods in an office environment

- Frequently standing, walking, stooping, reaching, climbing, bending and reaching

- Manual dexterity for computer use, files and office equipment

- Occasionally lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds

+ Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
