This position develops and manages key government sales related accounts. Responsible for overseeing the coordinated effort to ensure customer satisfaction and review/analyze new government related sales opportunities.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities•Develops and manages new sales in the government direct and indirect sectors
•Manages all aspects of assigned accounts, including growth opportunities
•Maintains a strong working relationship with internal partners to leverage their knowledge base
•Advises customers on types of and purchase needs
•Monitors customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts
•Suggests and implements improvements to the sales administration process
•Uses tools to track and analyze sales productivity
•Represents company at various government supplier base conferences
Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred, but not required
•Valve and/or other related Industrial sales experience required
•At least 10 years in government sales accepted in lieu of degree
