The Environmental Regulatory Specialist will be based in downtown Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
•Provide the environmental lead for coordination of engineering, right-of-way, and public affairs to develop applications and obtain the environmental approvals necessary to support timely project construction
•Develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations
•Manage environmental data and associated databases
•Oversee compliance with environmental permits, legislation, and Company Standards
•Effectively engage with government regulators during permit acquisition
•Review construction progress and monitor environmental impacts and compliance
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related discipline; alternatively, commensurate work experience
•At least 3 years of experience in federal and state environmental permitting in the oil and gas sector. Louisiana permitting experience would be preferred.
•Ability to work both independently and within a team, with demonstrable strong interpersonal skills
•Ability to evaluate and clearly communicate both verbal and written technical information
•Strong attention to detail
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications as needed for effective job performance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
