The Production Associate is responsible for performing light assembly tasks in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. This role involves working with hand tools, assembling components, conducting quality checks, and supporting overall production goals. The position requires attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team.
- Assemble components and products according to written work instructions and diagrams.
- Safely operate hand tools and small power tools to complete assigned tasks.
- Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in cross-training and assist with a variety of tasks as production needs change.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Indoor, climate-controlled manufacturing facility (heated and cooled by geothermal technology).
- Brightly lit with LED lighting and natural sunlight.
- Moderate noise levels typical of manufacturing.
- Standard shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Overtime and weekend work are rare.
- Starting pay: $13.00 per hour.
- Pay increases at 90 days, 180 days, and 1 year, based on positive performance reviews.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks accurately.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different assembly tasks.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or hand tool experience.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 lbs occasionally.
- Manual dexterity to use tools and handle small parts.
- Visual acuity to detect quality issues.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed.
