Position Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring that products are made according to minimum requirements and tests the product according to industry and/or customer requirements.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

•You shall carry out all of your responsibilities by applying and maintaining a culture of ethics and integrity in accordance with the values and standards of our Code of Conduct and Compliance Management System.
•Carry out product tests and thorough independent final inspection of finished assemblies to defined procedures, formally reporting all defects
•Provide technical support in the areas of assembly, receiving inspection, and Production Line activities supported by the Quality Department
•Support regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving build quality
•Ensure all products flow through the inspection department
•Ensure all incidents of non-conformance are recorded
•Abide by industry expectations in regard to using calibrated equipment
•Write simple reports and provide information to management
•Train other employees in proper inspection procedures
•Assist with receiving inspection, in-process and final inspection of assemblies and raw material as required.
•Assist Head of Laboratory in special projects as needed
•All other duties as assigned
Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities):

•Previous Quality experience in an Assembly environment, 1-2 years preferred
•Ability to read, write and interpret general documents such as Procedures, manuals, etc.
•Ability to communicate in verbal and written form to fellow team members, team leaders and supervisors
•Ability to use general hand tools when required
•Ability to read metric system
•Able to use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and hard gauges
•Basic Knowledgef of General Dimensioning & Tolerancing
