The EHS Data Analyst supports daily operations by collecting, analyzing, and auditing data across multiple sites and departments. Defines functional requirements for software development and collaborates with stakeholders to enhance EHS forecasting and sustainability initiatives. Ensures data quality and compliance with internal standards and external frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD). Responsibilities include reporting, data entry, project support, and optimizing application use in partnership with business units and development teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Foster collaboration across teams to achieve optimized solutions.
- Assist in implementing business applications and enhancements
- Use data to drive analysis and decision-making regarding feature priority and process optimization in assistance of the product owner.
- Investigate problems and data discrepancies, diagnose root causes, identify problematic trends, and work on resolving them. Conduct reports on KPIs.
- Have a focus on continuous improvement with the business, reviewing both processes and systems. Propose modifications and enhancements to improve functionality or address any issues that arise.
- Review, analyze, evaluate, and document requirements of business users.
- Review ESG data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, ensuring alignment with established reporting standards.
- Conduct preliminary audits of ESG data to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
- Conduct research on emerging ESG data trends, tools, and technologies to help improve data collection, auditing, and reporting practices.
- Support the preparation of audit trails for data sources, ensuring transparency in ESG reporting.
- Identify inconsistencies in data collection processes and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Support the analysis of ESG metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identifying trends and areas for further review.
- Build and maintain EHS related dashboards in Power BI.
- Provide ongoing project support and work between cross functional teams
- Assist team members by providing necessary reports and queries to assist the department to make informed and good business decisions
- Assist in updating departmental procedures and policies
- 3 years of experience in data entry, data analytics, software development, or system administrator role
- Experience supporting and implementing software applications and administrating systems
- Project management experience.
- Experience in agile software development teams.
- Associate’s degree
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Experience in Power BI/Tableau
- Proficient in Power BI and Tableau for data analytics dashboard development and maintenance
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in conceptual modeling and big-picture thinking
- Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organization and time management
- Demonstrates drive, determination, and professional maturity
- Experienced in cross-functional collaboration and team facilitation

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
