- The Human Resources Assistant at Thomas Oilfield Services LLC will support the HR department in various administrative and clerical tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparation of orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
- Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
- Assist in the preparation of HR documents, such as employment contracts and new hire guides.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, and maintain agendas.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, such as absences, bonus, and leaves.
- Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the HR department and company objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources or administrative role.
- Experience with HR software and databases, such as HRIS or ATS systems.
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
