The Field Service Support Manager is technical resource responsible for providing hands-on field support, training, and quality oversight for pump service operations. Acting as a technical liaison between internal teams, customers, and sales, this role plays a key part in reinforcing standards, expanding market presence, and elevating service quality across the organization.
- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide on-site technical support to field technicians during equipment installations, repairs, and troubleshooting activities.
- Lead and facilitate hands-on training programs for internal teams and customers to ensure consistent technical proficiency across the organization.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of standardized field service procedures and best practices.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert to both customers and sales teams, offering guidance on equipment capabilities and applications.
- Deliver product and application insights to support sales efforts and promote business development.
- Support market growth by aligning technical solutions with customer needs and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with service managers and key internal stakeholders to implement standardized repair processes and service protocols.
- Oversee the quality of repair work by ensuring adherence to established documentation, testing, and inspection procedures.
- Continuously evaluate field operations to identify areas for process improvement and increased efficiency.
- Maintain close coordination with sales, engineering, service teams, and branch leadership to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Assist in resolving complex technical issues through advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Ensure service delivery meets customer expectations through proactive communication and follow-through.
- JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field service or rotating equipment (pumps preferred)
- Strong technical background in installation, repair, and diagnostics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive mindset with the ability to lead through influence
- Willingness to travel regularly across assigned service areas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
