Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanic/ Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mitchell Quarry. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment, vehicles, and machinery. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of hydraulic & electrical systems, and commitment to safety & efficiency.
Responsibilities
•Perform routine maintenance
•Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
•Inspect equipment and machinery
•Respond to equipment breakdowns
•Collaborate with operators & supervisors to prioritize repairs & minimize downtime
•Weld, fabricate, or modify parts
Qualifications
•Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
•Strong understanding of technical sales principles as they relate to machinery.
•Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
