- Support Lift Operations for Fall into Nature events taking place at Kelso Conservation Area in October and November
- Maintain safe and orderly loading and unloading of foot traffic on the chair lifts , including assisting guests with limited mobility or unfamiliarity with the lifts
- Ensure all guests have a valid lift ticket
- Maintain loading and unloading ramps, signage, and corals to approved standards
- Ensure that the approved operating procedures are followed in accordance with the Lift Operations manual and passenger ropeways regulations
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service and safety
- Previous customer service, lift operations, and skiing and/or snowboarding experience is an asset
- Professional, energetic, and reliable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle difficult situations while remaining calm under pressure
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on varied terrain.
- Able to lift up to 20 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
- Successful candidates must complete Bullwheel Training prior to first day of employment Training provided by Conservation Halton*- CH parks are not accessible by public transit; candidates should ensure they have reliable transportation.
- Starting at $17.55 per hour
- Part time hours available; hours may vary depending on availability
- Working hours will vary and will include weekends and holidays.
- This position’s expected start date is September 29, 2025
