The Administrative/Accounting Assistant responsibilities and skill requirements as follows:
- Greeting visitors and answering phones
- Making adjustments to service schedule and printing master schedule for review
- Managing office supplies
- Maintain accurate filing
- Booking Building Inspections
- Monitoring, redirecting, and answering emails
- Drafting documents and quotes
- Assist with various office projects and tasks
- Take payments – credit card/debit terminal, cheque, and cash.
- Accounts Receivable: Invoicing and Collections
- Accounts Payable
- Assist with various projects and tasks
- Good Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, Accuracy and Attention to Detail
- Forward Thinker
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Proficiency with Excel and MS Word
- Excellent Computer Skills and Ability to Adapt to New Software Systems
- Strong English Written and Oral Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Work on Multiple Projects while adhering to Tight Deadlines
- Quick and Accurate Data Entry
- Familiarity with the General Principles of Accounting
- Strong Understanding of Math and Numbers
- Office Administration Experience: 5-10 years
- AP/AR Experience: 2-5 years
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Office Administration
- Experience with Sage 300 Accounting Program (Preferred)
- Experience with Construction Industry (Preferred)
