Summary of Position:
Midwest Hose & Specialty is seeking a highly skilled Pricing & Data Administrator with deep expertise in pricing strategy and data management. In this role, you will optimize our product pricing, ensure data accuracy across the organization, and serve as a key administrator of our Trulinx ERP system. This is a remote position, but occasional travel to Oklahoma City, OK will be required for in-person collaboration and training. The ideal candidate will work closely with our current Trulinx Administrator to learn existing processes. Responsibilities:
- Pricing Strategy & Management: Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market. Manage and update all pricing data in the ERP system (price lists, customer-specific pricing, discounts) to ensure accuracy and consistency. Analyze pricing performance and margins, providing insights and adjustments as needed to meet business goals.
- Data Administration: Oversee and maintain critical business data within the Trulinx ERP, including product, customer, and sales data. Ensure data integrity through regular audits and clean-ups. Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making in sales, finance, and operations, leveraging data analysis tools (Excel, BI software, etc.).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, procurement, finance, and operations teams to align pricing strategies with organizational objectives. Provide training and support to team members on Trulinx functionalities and new features. Collaborate on projects that involve data migration, system enhancements, or process improvements related to the ERP.
- Pricing Expertise: Proven experience in pricing analysis or pricing management, with a strong understanding of pricing strategies, margin analysis, and competitive pricing in a B2B or manufacturing/distribution environment.
- Data & Analytical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools; able to interpret complex data sets and present actionable insights. Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools or SQL is a plus.
- ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems is required (experience with Trulinx or similar distribution ERP software highly preferred). Ability to quickly learn new software and guide others in its use.
- Detail Orientation: High attention to detail and accuracy when managing data and configuring systems. Adept at establishing data governance practices to maintain data quality.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to completion. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and fixing issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in roles such as Pricing Analyst, Data Analyst, ERP Administrator, or similar, with a track record of driving results through pricing and data management (required)- Direct experience with ERP administration or large-scale data management projects (required); experience with Trulinx ERP or in the industrial distribution sector (strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with the hose & fittings industry or industrial wholesale distribution is a plus, but not required
- Location: Remote position (United States-based). Candidates must be willing to travel to our Oklahoma City, OK headquarters on a periodic basis (e.g., quarterly or as needed) for team meetings, training, and collaboration.

- This role may involve occasional extended hours or adjusting work times to coordinate with team members in different time zones when necessary.
