SUMMARY: Primary responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to: data entry of accounts payable for parts division, maintaining accounting records, reconciling discrepancies and supporting the accounting department with month-end closing processes and financial audits.
o Enter and process high volume of vendor invoices, verifying their accuracy and matching them against purchase orders and receiving documents.
o Research and resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices or payments.
o Maintain accurate financial records, vendor files and payment documentation.
o Reconcile vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any outstanding balances
o Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
o Provide necessary documentation and explanations for financial audits.
o Assist with month-end closing procedures and preparation of financial reports.
· Assist the accounting and finance departments in data needed for reconciliations, pay schedules, collections, audit requests and other related matters.
· Work cooperatively with members of other departments and divisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail for accurate data entry into financial systems.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Microsoft office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate and maintain positive relationships with all employees and the public.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Possess problem solving, reasoning, reasonable judgement and analytical skills.
- Ability to comply with appropriate task deadlines.
- Work independently and as a team member as required.
- 2-plus years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of accounting processes and cycles.
