Inside Steel Sales Representative (Existing Book of Business Required) Location: Las Vegas, NV —
On-Site (Remote Considered for Proven Producers) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation: $75,000 base + uncapped commission + benefits
Curtis Steel is a leading regional steel service center with decades of industry reputation and a growing footprint across the Southwest. We’re looking for an experienced steel salesperson who can bring business from day one — someone who already has strong, active customer relationships in Las Vegas, St. George, Barstow/Victorville, Kingman.
This position is primarily inside sales, based at our Las Vegas office, but we’ll consider a hybrid or remote arrangement for a high-performing rep who can sell and service accounts effectively.
What You’ll Do - Manage and grow a personal book of business focused on Las Vegas, St. George, Barstow/Victorville, and Kingman. - Generate and close quotes for sheet, plate, structural, and tubing steel products. - Coordinate with operations, purchasing, and logistics to ensure accurate, on-time fulfillment. - Develop new relationships with fabricators, contractors, and manufacturers that fit our service model. - Maintain pricing discipline and profit margins while delivering reliable customer service. Record activity, quotes, and follow-ups in CRM or internal systems with accuracy.
What We’re Looking For - Active, portable book of business within our regional markets. - 3–5+ years inside-sales experience with a steel service center or related industrial supplier. - Track record of profitable sales growth and strong customer retention. - Confident communicator with exceptional phone, email, and follow-up habits. - Comfortable working on-site in Las Vegas from 7 AM–4 PM,Monday–Friday. Capable of handling existing non-compete / non-solicit obligations responsibly.
Compensation & Benefits - Base salary: $75,000 per year. - Commission: Uncapped; based on gross profit and volume, rewarding both margin and growth. - Benefits: Health insurance, paid time off, and other company benefits discussed during interviews. High performers in this role typically exceed six-figure total compensation within their first year.
