Job Title: HR/Accounting Assistant Reports To: SR HR Manager Location: Fargo, ND Job Type: Full Time
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR/Accounting Assistant to support both our Human Resources and Accounting departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of administrative and financial procedures, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. This dual-role position plays a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across HR and finance functions.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems
- Organize and maintain HR documentation and compliance records
- Help coordinate training sessions, employee events, and engagement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment law by maintaining accurate documentation
- Assist accounting with printing invoices and matching them up with pack slips, entering fuel receipts, and do some accounting reports
- Scanning of documents for both HR and Accounting
- Greet incoming customers and vendors
- Work with Purchasing creating cycle count sheets, OSP P.O.'s, and check in OSP orders
- Reconcile cycle counts and scan/enter in Heat Certs
- All other duties assigned by HR, Accounting, or Purchasing
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in HR, Accounting, or similar roles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with HRIS and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, Canva, Paychex, or similar)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
