Job Summary
The Returns Associate supports the day-to-day operations of the branch in providing customer service. Processes return purchase order credits from vendors (RMPOs). Researches and resolves discrepancies in quantity and pricing on non-stock items.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
•Processes customer returns, oversees damage and defective inventory returns, while being the branch lead for CMI-VMI.
•Processes return purchase order credits from vendors (RMPOs).
•Researches and resolves discrepancies in quantity and pricing on non-stock items.
•Oversees cash deposits for branch and branch cash box accuracy.
•Informs proper departments of inventory discrepancies and other inventory problems or concerns.
Non-essential Functions
•May assist in providing customer service functions, including but not limited to answering phones, expediting, and resolving customer service issues.
•Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
Qualifications
•Two-year business/trade degree or the equivalent in work experience.
•Prior electrical distribution experience with good knowledge of electrical products or systems preferred.
•Possess a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
•Good working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Internet, email and SAP software preferred.

•Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication reading skills.
•Ability to effectively plan and organize.
•Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive, and engaged.
