- Route deliveries efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve issues reported by drivers.
- Collect COD’s from drivers.
- Coordinate deliveries with other departments and facilities.
- Assist will-call customers.
- Use computer for shipping feedback/other various computer functions.
- Assist with phone calls.
- Answer after hours customer calls as required.
- Collaborate with sales, order entry, service department, etc. to meet customer needs.
- Keep sales and other departments abreast of any changes or delays in deliveries.
- Assist in annual performance reviews with drivers.
- Occasionally assists in loading truck.
- Supports company goals and initiatives.
- Maintains telephone or radio contact with drivers to give delivery instructions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as dispatcher
- General computer knowledge (windows office, word, excel, outlook & misc. iPhone apps).
- General understanding of DOT Regulations
- SAP software preferred but not required
