Technical Sales Representative or Engineer

We are looking for an Inside Sales representative who will play a pivotal role in our sales team's success. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to drive revenue growth, exceed sales targets, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This position requires a technical understanding of HVAC products and systems, effectively managing your time, and excellent communication skills.

Position Responsibilities:

- Generate selections and customer quotes for all the products that we represent, including but not limited to RGDs, VAVs, Fans, and Mechanical Equipment.

- Prepare detailed submittals.

- Download drawings, specifications, schedules, and details.

- Perform accurate “take-offs” electronically using Planswift.

- Process stock and factory orders for customers.

- Answer phone calls and email requests from clients relating to quotations, order processing, order tracking, freight claims, product availability, field service, and warranties.

- following established sales processes and procedures at Buckley.

- Maintain knowledge of HVAC fundamentals and product lines.

- Maintaining a working understanding of all the products on our line card by consistently participating in factory and Buckley technical training offerings.

- Fulfill customer product and service needs by utilizing product knowledge and soliciting help from other team members and other internal resources.

Education & Experience Requirements:

- A degree in engineering is preferred but not required. Five or more years of relevant experience may suffice in lieu of a degree.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
