The Family Assistant to the President provides hands-on coordination and organization to ensure a smooth, well-managed household environment. This position supports daily routines, household operations, and special projects with a focus on organization, reliability, and discretion. The Family Assistant plays a key role in managing errands, property needs, and administrative tasks while maintaining a supportive, behind-the-scenes presence that enhances household efficiency and family routines.
- Prepare and pack lunches and snacks; assist with light meal preparation as needed.
- Organize daily items, coordinate breakfast, and assist with school and activity drop-offs and pick-ups.
- Reset the home after the morning routine, including dishes, tidying, and laundry.
- Maintain shared calendars, track appointments, and coordinate household activities.
- Organize household items, manage storage spaces, and keep the home free of unnecessary clutter.
- Perform laundry, linen care, and organizational tasks.
- Maintain inventory of pantry, refrigerator, and household supplies.
- Run errands, including groceries, dry cleaning, pharmacy visits, and returns.
- Assist with light preparation and seasonal needs at additional properties.
- Sort, scan, and digitally organize mail and paperwork.
- Maintain up-to-date reference documents and systems.
- Schedule and coordinate service providers and household appointments.
- Support seasonal household projects and event preparation.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules.
- Proficiency with Apple and Microsoft platforms, including mobile apps.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling sensitive family matters.
- Ability to work independently and anticipate needs.
- Comfort with errands and basic household management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal assistance, hospitality, childcare, or household management.
- Experience with smart home technology (Nest, Ring, etc.) preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
- Must meet Driver Acceptability Profile requirements (driving position).
- Primarily residence-based role, with occasional travel for errands or support at additional properties.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Standard full-time schedule (40 hours per week), with occasional flexibility required.
- FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
- Pay Range: $22 - $25 per hour
