The Sales Development Manage is responsible for strategically increasing sales for the organization by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer product lines.
- Hires and trains sales staff.
- Organizes and oversees schedules, territories, and performance of sales representatives.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Develops and implements sales and growth strategies that are synchronized with the market.
- Identifies new customers and markets.
- Promotes the company’s products to address customer needs.
- Uses appropriate tools to track customers and sales on a regular basis and provides appropriate feedback to sales staff.
- Develops efficient sales processes to track customer activity and sales growth.
- Establishes strong relationships with customers.
- Leads the sales team and mentors/trains entry-level sales staff
- Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure goals are met.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales goals and strategies.
- Maintains and supplies personal vehicle to visit customers and prospects.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Must maintain a clean driving record.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Comparable record of sales leadership experience required.
- At least three years of sales experience required.
- Experience in the lube, oil, chemical, bulk fuel industry preferred.
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely.
- Ability to navigate stairs and walking daily.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Extreme temperatures may be experienced when meeting prospects in the field (hot in summer; cold in winter).
