About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic

Project Developer

to support the advancement of utility-scale

transmission and substation

projects from early concept through development readiness. As part of the

Transmission & Substation Group

, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, permitting, regulatory, and planning teams to scope and de-risk complex energy infrastructure across California and beyond.

This position is ideal for professionals with a technical foundation, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of the energy development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

early-stage project scoping

, including site feasibility, technical assessments, and grid interconnection pathways.

cross-functional collaboration

with engineering, environmental permitting, planning, and regulatory stakeholders.

site visits, desktop assessments

, and preliminary route analyses to identify viable transmission corridors and substation locations.
