This is a full-time in-office role based in downtown Vancouver, BC. As the Office Manager and Receptionist at Founders Metals, you will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and external partners. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role provides administrative and operational support across the Vancouver office and to the broader leadership team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to a professional, welcoming work environment.
- Manage reception duties including calls, mail, packages, and visitor coordination.
- Oversee office facilities and kitchen, ensuring they are clean, stocked, safe and well-organized.
- Manage office supplies including vendor coordination and reconciliations with accounting team.
- Provide administrative and event support to leadership, including expense reports, travel arrangements, corporate events, and other ad hoc tasks.
- Support HR with onboarding, documentation, and employee communications.
- Assist with safety orientation, compliance reporting, project support, and office moves.
- Provide logistical support for investor relations and corporate development meetings, conferences, roadshows, and in-country events.
- Manage social platforms, create and publish posts aligned with events and announcements.
- Liaise with building management for maintenance, access cards, security, and safety matters.
- 3–5 years of administrative, reception, or office management experience
- Experience supporting executives or leadership teams and handling confidential information with discretion.
- Proven experience in planning, organizing, and executing corporate events, meetings and conferences.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in supporting HR, Investor Relations, or project teams.
- Familiarity with safety programs or documentation processes.
- Experience in a growing or multi-site organization.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
- Commitment to workplace safety, environmental stewardship and compliance.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Proactive, results driven, and adaptable in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
- Team-oriented with effective communication and collaboration.
This position is based in Vancouver, BC, with potential travel to the project site and corporate events as required.
