Responsibilities
•Generate your own leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, social media, events, and personal network
•Educate homeowners on the financial, environmental, and practical benefits of solar energy, battery storage, and EV charging
•Sell PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) and third-party ownership deals confidently and ethically
•Build proposals and price deals using redline models – keep the difference as your margin
•Close deals independently and manage the sales process end-to-end
•Follow up with prospects using CRM tools and effective communication strategies
•Track sales performance and meet/exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
•Provide a top-tier customer experience, building long-term trust and generating referral business
•Stay up to date on industry trends, financing options, and product offerings
Requirements
•Minimum 2 years of solar sales experience, specifically with PPAs or TPOs
•Proven ability to self-generate leads (door-to-door, referrals, digital, etc.)
•Strong understanding of redline pricing and margin-based compensation
•Confident closer with a track record of high conversion rates
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Proficient with CRM tools and basic solar proposal software (e.g., Aurora– training available)
•Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented
•Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
•Must be based in Central Texas or willing to relocate
•Weekend and evening availability for in-home or virtual appointments
•Comfortable operating as an independent contractor (1099 role)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $100,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
