Summary:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling various components and systems that make up sub-assemblies on our hydrogen equipment. Sub-assemblies are designed to be incorporated with other units into a larger manufactured end product. Component mounting/building of sub-assemblies is the primary function of the job. Sub-Assemblies may consist of specialty valve panels, air/gas handling systems, cooling systems, electrical components, and electrical control panels.
Experience and Abilities:
•1-3 + years of light to mid-weight component assembly experience.
•High-end skills and knowledge of hand tools and associated.
•Strong precision measuring and layout skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Clean and organized tools/work area skills.
Skills and Qualifications:
•Ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and sketches.
•Ability to use verbal instruction in lieu of formal drawings.
•Ability to maintain production pace with minimal supervision.
•Ability to maintain a "clean" laboratory type working environment at all.
Personal Attributes:
•Have practical organizational and time management skills.
•Leadership skills will be highly valued.
•Have the physical ability to perform manual labor, which may include:
+ Climbing
+ Bending
+ Repetitive motions
+ Standing for extended periods
+ Lift to 45 lbs.

Starting Salary: based on experiencecan be discussed during the interview process.
Must be willing to commute to and from Longview, NC.
Starting Salary: $18 - $20/hourly.
