Position Overview
We are hiring a Senior CNC Machinist to join our elite manufacturing team. This role is for a highly skilled machinist with deep experience, precision craftsmanship, and the ability to lead by example. As a senior member of the shop floor, you will take on our most demanding projects, solve complex challenges, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with engineers, programmers, and fellow machinists to produce mission-critical parts to exact standards. This is not a programming role, but programming experience is a plus and there may occasionally be opportunities to assist with programming tasks.

Expected Outcomes:
CNC Machining Leadership
· Set up, make program adjustments, and operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-precision parts. Lead by example in maintaining quality, efficiency, and discipline on the shop floor.
Mentorship & Collaboration
· Support and mentor less experienced machinists, sharing best practices and offering technical guidance to elevate team performance.
Advanced Problem Solving
· Independently troubleshoot complex setups, ambiguous instructions, or unclear drawings. Proactively find solutions that keep projects moving.

Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
•8+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-precision industries.
•Strong proficiency with CNC mills, lathes, precision measuring instruments, and GD&T.
•Proven ability to handle complex multi-axis setups and independently troubleshoot machining challenges.
Programming experience is a plus. While this is not a programming role, there may occasionally be opportunities to support programming activities.*
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
•Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy machinery.
•Comfortable working within an AS9100 quality management system
•Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR compliance).

This position requires compliance with U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), or otherwise authorized to access ITAR-controlled information as defined by U.S. government regulations.
