Description
The Engineering Intern will engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at a professional level. Receives training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
Essential Tasks And Responsibilities
- Support various project tasks including scope definition, front end loading, design, and asbuilts.
- Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data presentation.
- Support the preparation of drawings, reports, plans and specifications for clients.
- May work on field assignments as available.
- Will be supported by leaders, mentors, and teammates.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.

- Supports company vision and mission.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Must be in the final two years of obtaining college degree.
- Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid technical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow.
- Experience with engineering software applications (Pipeline Toolbox, AutoCAD, Autodesk, Bentley, Aspen, Flomaster, etc.) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
- Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and procedures.
- Spends 100% of time in an office environment.
- Is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
- Is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
