Skilled Quarry Technician – Full-Time
Mitchell Quarry – Mitchell, SD
Mitchell Quarry is hiring a Skilled Quarry Technician to join our high-performance team. This position is for individuals who already know how to work, take direction, stay safe, and keep operations moving. If you’re dependable, mechanically minded, and take pride in doing things right, you’ll fit in here.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (loaders, skid steers, haul trucks, or similar) safely and efficiently
- Assist with daily plant operations, crushing, screening, maintenance, and clean-up
- Perform routine inspections and basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Follow MSHA safety rules and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Support production goals and communicate clearly with foreman and crew
Requirements
- Experience in construction, mining, quarry, heavy equipment, or mechanical work - required
- Valid driver’s license with no impending criminal charges.
- Able to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors, and handle physically demanding tasks- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions without babysitting
- Safety-minded and team-oriented
Hours & Pay
Day shift - Mon thru Fri; Saturdays as needed.
Full-time, year-round
