Education: Degree in Accounting required. Advanced degree and/or professional certification preferred.
Experience: 7+ years of strong financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong background using ERP systems is essential, Oracle, Prophix, Power BI experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
•Facilitate the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives for the various business units
•Responsible for all aspects of business unit cost accounting operations and variance analysis
•Design, track, and analyze KPI performance for major cost drivers
•Partner with Business Units to provide analytical decision-making support as well as recommend and implement improvements to profitability and operational efficiency
•Continuously improve financial processes to reduce complexity and redundancy, increase speed of closing, and improve accuracy
•Develop, update, and provide expertise in all areas of product costing
•Analyze and develop capital project justifications and associated ROI analysis
•Serve as financial liaison with manufacturing business units and joint venture associates
Essential Physical, Sensory, and Mental Requirements
Will sit 6 hours, stand 1 hour, and walk 1 hour daily. May lift and carry up to 15 lbs. 5 minutes per day. Will use a telephone 1 hour per day. Will use computer at least 3 hours per day. Requires good vision, hearing and speaking. Must read, write and do math. Will primarily work indoors at a desk within a comfortable office environment.
