Job Description: Fabricator / Pipe Welder

Experience Required: 3–5 years (TIG, MIG, Stick). Aluminum experience is a plus but not required.

Position Summary

The Fabricator/Pipe Welder supports all areas of the organization by applying metal forming, machining, and welding skills to ensure successful completion of project plans. This role collaborates closely with Senior Fabricators and may assist additional departments based on workload and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Work safely and follow all industry and LEL International safety standards.

- Collaborate with Senior Fabricators to scope projects, define requirements, and commit to timelines.

- Perform welding (TIG, MIG, Stick), machining, and metal forming tasks to meet project objectives.

- Modify large weldments, containers, and enclosures by cutting, welding, grinding, and painting as needed.

- Assist with rigging, warehouse operations, assembly, or other functions based on labor demand.

- Support various functional needs of the business as required.

- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist in implementing positive changes.

- Develop Standard Work documentation for critical processes.

- Perform other duties consistent with skill level and experience to meet real-time business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

- Completion of an Apprenticeship Program or sufficient on-the-job training with an industrial business.

Experience

- 3–5 years of industrial welding experience (TIG/MIG/Stick)

- Experience with basic metal forming (bending, rolling, etc.)

- Experience with machining operations (mill, shear, band saw, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Understanding of material characteristics (carbon steel, stainless steel)

- Ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, twist, and climb

- Strong communication skills with coworkers, suppliers, and customers

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
