Key Responsibilities What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee warehouse operations by receiving, sampling, storing, and tracking materials while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Act as a leader in the supervisor’s absence, coordinating workflow, reassigning tasks, and serving as a liaison between management and floor employees.
- Support inventory management through physical counts, discrepancy resolution, and maintaining accurate system records.
- Train and mentor employees on warehouse processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures to build team capability.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts, drum clamps, and yard trucks, to handle materials and move trailers.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, such as bottlenecks, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns, and escalate when necessary.
What You’ll Need to Succeed as a Warehouse Coordinator
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment; 1 year of forklift operation required.- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and operate equipment safely (forklift, yard dog truck).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; PowerPoint and Access preferred.
- Effective communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and management.
- Coaching and mentoring abilities to train new or less experienced employees.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and accuracy in inventory management.
- Adaptability, time management, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements Education
High School Diploma or GED
Experience 2+ years in a manufacturing environment desired.
1-year forklift experience. Previous experience operating a yard dog truck is helpful.
