What You Will Be Doing:
We are looking for a talented individual to join our team! EMC Insights and EcoMetric are seeking a HR Generalist to join our growing team. As a HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in supporting the management team by executing a wide range of HR initiatives and activities. The successful candidate will be located in the greater Philadelphia area. You will work in a dynamic environment contributing to the successful delivery of utility-sponsored energy management programs.
Ideal Locations:
•Greater Philadelphia commutable distance to the Paoli, PA office
Responsibilities:
•Manage the full recruitment cycle, which includes but is not limited to assisting in drafting job descriptions, posting jobs on various job sourcing sites, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, and working with the management team in drafting offer letters and communication with candidates
•Perform onboarding activities, which include ordering and shipping laptops and other pertinent equipment, and conducting new employee orientation
•Coordinate with our outside benefits partner, including assessing benefits, assisting with benefits open enrollment, communication and assisting employees with questions
•Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns, and helping to mediate conflicts to foster a positive work environment
•Ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations
•Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and in cooperation with the management team
•Assist in performance evaluation processes, providing guidance to managers on performance issues, and facilitate training sessions for employees
•Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
•Ensure the Human Resource Information System is up to date
•Coordinate with third party website developers to maintain the company website
What You Will Bring with You/Qualifications:
•BA or BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
•At least 3 years of HR experience
•At least 2 years of recruiting experience
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
•Excellent organization and time management skills
•Problem -solving and conflict resolution abilities
•Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
•Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
