What started as a modest group of farmers has grown into a thriving cooperative with over 1,400 members, serving communities across eleven counties. Despite our growth, we remain locally owned and operated—not by a distant boardroom, but by the farmers we proudly serve.

Summary: Directs and coordinates activities of Ag Plus’ Energy Division to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties personally or through Energy Division employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Directly supervises employees and 1 sub-ordinate supervisor in the Energy Division who oversees the Propane logistics. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Ag Plus’ policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Voluntary training in providing First Aid and CPR
Three years or more of a proven track record of managing a business unit. Ability to interpret financial statements. Sales Management experience.
