The Safety & Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading both safety compliance and operational efficiency initiatives across our manufacturing, federal service, and installation operations. This role ensures compliance with OSHA and other safety standards while also driving process improvements that streamline workflows, reduce waste, and increase overall effectiveness. The position requires a balance of strong safety management expertise and a proven ability to identify and implement operational improvements.
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety programs and policies in alignment with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across manufacturing, federal services, and installation operations.
- Lead incident investigations and establish corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Deliver employee safety training, toolbox talks, and ongoing compliance education.
- Maintain accurate records or safety audits, inspections, training, and incident reporting.
- Act as the primary contact for OSHA inspections and regulatory agencies.
- Engage employees at every level to foster a positive and proactive, safety-first culture.
- Analyze existing workflows, processes, and systems to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement streamlined processes to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, and field service teams to implement lean methodologies and best practices.
- Track and measure performance improvements through key metrics (KPI’s)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops and kaizen events to engage employees in problem-solving and process optimization.
- Recommend and implement new technologies, tools, or systems to support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ Years of experience in safety management and/or process improvement, preferably in construction or petroleum-related industries.- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple departments and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
