Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Sales team. This individual will serve as a primary point of contact for our customers, providing support from quote to delivery. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and skilled in both customer service and sales support within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
•Process customer orders via phone, email, and system portals.
•Prepare and submit quotes based on customer drawings/specifications.
•Negotiate pricing and delivery terms within established company guidelines.
•Address and resolve customer concerns such as delays, product discrepancies, or damages in a professional manner.
•Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries regarding quotes, lead times, order status, and technical product information.
•Maintain complete and up-to-date customer records including sales tax certificates and shipping information etc.
•Coordinate with production, shipping, and quality control teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
•Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts.
•Understand basic sheet metal materials (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum) and fabrication processes (e.g., laser cutting, bending, welding) is a plus.
Qualifications & Skills
•Proficiency in QuickBooks (required).
•Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings or blueprints (preferred).
•Familiarity with manufacturing processes and lead times (preferred).
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong data entry and organizational skills.
•Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•Team-oriented with a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Working Conditions
•Full-time, on-site position.
•Standard business hours Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with occasional overtime based on workload.
