· Check the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final bill
· Identify problems associated with deliveries such as retains, gallons not matching delivery tickets, P.O. numbers not given for delivery, etc.
· Issue invoices and bills and send them to customers through various channels (mail, e-mail, etc.)
· Issue customer account statements periodically or whenever necessary
· Answer questions and handle inquiries from customers regarding bills
· Work with Transportation department to ensure all delivery paperwork is complete
· Coordinate with Sales Team on any special invoice requirements
· Proven experience as billing clerk or general accounting experience
· Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); Working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. QuickBooks) will be appreciated
· High school diploma; further education will be a plus
