Under direct supervision, performs a variety of duties of a clerical and administrative nature
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
•
General typing/keyboard work and program administration.
•
Typing a variety of forms, data tabulations and reports and preparing/reproducing master sheets and duplicate copies as necessary.
•
Maintain assigned records, compiling data, keeping a variety of record files and supplying required information from such records.
•
Operating simple office machines, handling telephone calls, making appointments, travel arrangements, performing secretarial duties in accordance with Company Safety Rules and Good Housekeeping practices.
•
Coordinate the Department Payroll and timesheet reporting by accepting employee timesheets and entering the data into the payroll system.
•
Maintain confidential and regular department files.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
•
High School Diploma/GED
Relevant Work Experience
•
One year experience in secretarial work and/or completion of college or business school. Required
•
Type/keyboard accurately and neatly at the rate of at least 80 words per minute from copy. Required
•
Sound physical condition. Required
•
Willingness to direct and instruct employees completing the same work. Required
•
Possession of the qualities of neatness, cleanliness and orderliness in work and person. Required
•
Must have experience in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel and Access). Required
•
Must be able to update and maintain department web site. Required
