Job Summary:
To build MTE's brand as an electric vehicle resource for members. This will include organizing social events for members interested in electric vehicles, investigating opportunities for MTE to help serve member needs, provide insight to members about rate options and technologies that may be in their best interest, and advising MTE on the impact of electric vehicles in residential and commercial applications to the overall system infrastructure.
Job Requirements:
•Encompass the three virtues of the Ideal Team Player (Humble, Hungry & People Smart).
•Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with a technical, business, or marketing emphasis is required.
•A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field of strategic business analysis, brand-building, EV technology, or related technical analysis is preferred.
•This position requires a strong understanding of electric vehicles in personal and commercial applications. As technology changes, this position requires a level of continuous learning about residential, workplace, public, and fleet charging.
•This position requires strong interpersonal skills and an ability to teach and share highly technical information with in-person groups, conference and cross-industry presentations, and podcast audiences.
•Must be proficient in technical analysis of rates, energy usage, and the impact of EV charging.
•Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
•Willingness to work weekend and evening hours.
•Experience with tools such as Microsoft Excel to support mathematical analysis.
•Must be a self-learner and starter, willing to dig, with the ability to work independently or with teams. Ability to efficiently communicate analysis findings to non-technical teams and stakeholders.
•Must be able to facilitate data collection between a variety of systems, and write, review, and present final reports to all levels of audiences.
•Willing to serve as an internal expert which shares and teaches others in the organization key messages on EVs and EV charging.
•Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to think creatively, as well as be highly driven and self-motivated.
