Job Summary

Responsible for performing inspections and conducting tests, determining improvement standards of plant radiological performance, and for assessing and assuring plant radiological performance and regulatory compliance of the plant Radiation Protection Program.

Relocation assistance may be available if necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education:* Bachelor's degree in health physics or a related science or engineering discipline.

Work Experience:* At least six years of professional experience in health physics.

Required License/Certification:* Received certification by the American Board of Health Physics (ABHP) as a Certified Health Physicist.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:* Physical demand level is Light (exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects).

Must establish and maintain a permanent residence within a 45-minute safe drive time to the D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant.
