Linea Energy, a rapidly growing renewable energy startup, is seeking a highly-motivated, self-starting undergraduate intern to support the company’s artificial intelligence (AI) strategy and prototyping efforts during the summer of 2025. We are looking for students in their second year of college or beyond who are passionate about the intersection of AI and climate, and eager to drive practical applications of cutting-edge tools in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.

As an AI Implementation Intern at Linea, you will work cross-functionally with teams ranging from development to operations, helping to identify and prototype high-value AI use cases. These include tools for lease document extraction, automated power point editing, complex market data dashboards that include data scraping and analysis, and environmental siting analysis from satellite imagery. You’ll be expected to both recommend strategic approaches and build basic versions of tools, drawing on a mix of custom code and AI-native platforms such as Microsoft’s Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, and open-source LLM frameworks
