The Project Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects, from contract execution through final commissioning and turnover. This role requires leadership, organization, and technical expertise to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Lead project execution from NTP to COD, serving as the primary client contact.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and risk registers.
- Coordinate internal engineering, procurement, and construction teams, as well as subcontractors and external partners.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and issue progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal permitting and interconnection requirements.
- Manage subcontractor performance, change orders, and contract compliance.
- Drive a culture of safety and quality on all job sites.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability of AMS project delivery.
- 3–7 years of project management experience, ideally within solar, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of EPC project delivery and construction best practices.
- Proven ability to manage budgets of $5M+ and schedules across multiple concurrent projects.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent) and general business tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- PMP or similar certification a plus.
