Operations Administrator

We have an opening for an Operations Administrator based out of our SE Technical Centre location. Reporting to the CDN Directional Drilling Manager. The Operations Administrator is primarily accountable for processing invoices and field bonus reports for the MWD operators, reconciling final bills, header checks and assisting the Directional Drilling Administrator as required.
Responsibilities also include:
•Assist the Directional Drilling and MWD team with general duties, including but not limited to, scheduling field operators, maintaining spreadsheets, and writing and proofing documents.
•Audit daily operator days to ensure accurate billing for payroll.
•Check DD/MWD Consultant invoices for accuracy, obtain proper approvals, and forward to accounting.
•Check DD/MWD field bonus reports for accuracy, obtain proper approvals, and forward to payroll.
•Quality control gamma headers, update, and maintain the gamma log spreadsheet.
•Ensure all job start and end information is correct and entered in FieldCap.
•Reconcile final bills in FieldCap.
•Assist the Directional Drilling Administrator with but not limited to, processing final gamma logs, outstanding tech alerts, monthly MWD/DD account accruals.
•Have complete knowledge of the receptionist duties.
•Ensure all electronic files are complete and saved to the appropriate job information file on the operations drive.
•Attend necessary meetings.
•On-call after hours and on weekends when required.
•Assist other departments with various projects when time permits.
•Perform all duties so as to meet the responsibilities listed in the Employee and Corporate HSE Handbooks.
•Perform duties according to the Company’s quality system procedures and work instructions.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma and is a very organized, analytical and detail-oriented individual. They will also have solid keyboard skills with proficiency in MS Excel. Knowledge of directional and MWD equipment is an asset.
