Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Duties

•

Perform welding tasks using MIG or stick welding techniques on various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.

•

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

•

Utilize an Ohmmeter to test electrical connections and ensure proper functionality of welded components.

•

Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

•

Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

•

Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance welding skills and knowledge of new technologies.

Requirements

•

Proven experience as a Welder or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.

•

Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, stick) is essential.

•

Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter for testing electrical connections is preferred.

•

Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints and schematics.

•

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

•

Knowledge of safety practices related to welding operations is required.

•

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
