Duties and Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate shot peening equipment according to work instructions

· Clean and properly position components for shot peening

· Perform visual and dimensional checks on shot peened surfaces to ensure compliance with specifications using measuring tools

· Maintains clean work area

· Complies with Health and Safety program and OH&S regulations

· Maintain good interpersonal relationships with other team members

· Positive attitude and willingness to do what is required

· Strong team player with proactive, safety-oriented mindset

· Organized with ability to prioritize and adjust to changing priorities

· Effective listening and clear verbal communication skills

· Reliable transportation

Working Conditions:

· Machine shop and inspection environment with extended standing/walking, limited sitting. Most hours will be spent on the shop floor

· PPE required includes safety glasses, steel toe boots and ear plugs

· Some lifting required, up to 40 lbs. without assistance, cranes available for heavier lifting

· Afternoon shift: 2PM to 11PM some overtime required
