Flushby / Rod Rig Operator
This is a full-time position, based out of Kindersley, SK. Applicants should live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Operate the rig and oversee all tasks performed
•
Demonstrate a high level of safety leadership on and off the wellsite through daily safety meetings, JSA reviews, hazard assessments and safety drills
•
Maintain and promote positive relationships with our clients
•
Supervise and mentor rig crew
•
Perform training and competency development for rig crew
•
Maintain a highly clean working environment on the customer’s wellsite and in the rig
•
Ensure all required paperwork is completed thoroughly, accurately, and timely as required
•
Perform all required preventive maintenance checks, inspections and tasks
•
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to mitigate or eliminate workplace hazards
•
Comply with all industry, regulatory and company standards, regulations and policies
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
•
Valid class 3 or 1 with air brake endorsement driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract
•
Valid industry training certificates including, but not limited to, BOP Well Control, H2S, First Aid, CPR and Fall Arrest
•
Minimum 3 years of experience working in the oil and gas well servicing industry

•
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•
Stamina and strength to work long hours, sometimes in adverse weather conditions
•
Proven organizational and time-management skills
•
Ability to work well under pressure, individually and as part of a team, while balancing multiple demands
