About This Job

Job Title: Picker – Recycling Yard (Shredder & Downstream Operation)

Number of Positions: 2

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

•

Sort and pick materials from conveyors, specifically separating metals and removing contaminants and non-recyclable materials.

•

Ensure consistent flow and quality of recyclable materials entering shredder and downstream equipment.

•

Identify and report equipment or material issues promptly to supervisors.

•

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company safety standards.

•

Assist with general yard maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:

•

Previous experience in recycling, manufacturing, or material handling preferred but not required.

•

Ability to safely work in an outdoor industrial environment in varying weather conditions.

•

Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift items up to 50 lbs.

•

Good attention to detail and strong work ethic.

•

Basic knowledge of safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

•

Familiarity with recycling yard operations or experience working around shredding and sorting machinery.

•

Forklift or equipment operating experience a plus but not necessary.

Hiring Timeline:

•

Immediate need – looking to hire ASAP.

Must pass Drug Test & Background Check,

8 hour shift

•

Day shift

•

Evening shift

•

Monday to Friday

•

Night shift

•

Weekends as needed
