Position Summary
As a Scheduling Coordinator you are an integral part of the team and are responsible for ordering materials internally, processing transfers, and scheduling template, fabrication and installation jobs. You will work closely with our sales and production teams to ensure the satisfaction of our clients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
•Check and confirm materials availability
•Order materials required for jobs (internally)
•Process inter-branch transfers
•Schedule and coordinate template, fabrication and installation jobs
•Verify that all files are completed, questions are answered, and the site is ready for the service
•Update the Scheduler on a timely basis and communicate changes to the customers and internally
•Serve as a central point of communication related to the job
•Confirm job completion and address issues
•Create Sales Orders for service calls
•Support special programs like IKEA or Caesrastone Connect
•Provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner
•Work in a safe manner that complies with all safety guidelines
•Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications and skills
•Minimum 2 years experience in a production scheduling role
•Strong attention to detail and time management skills
•Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an aptitude to learn other relevant applications and technical/office equipment
•Experience working in EPICOR or other industry-specific software an asset
•Ability to multi-task and meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines in a demanding environment
•Ability to manage and coordinate many moving parts
•Solutions-minded, upbeat and positive
