We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join our remote, East Coast-based team. This contract position offers the opportunity to work at the heart of our mission-driven organization, providing crucial support to executive leadership while contributing to meaningful environmental and social impact.
The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to our CEO, managing complex administrative responsibilities, facilitating seamless communication across all organizational levels, and ensuring operational excellence in our fast-paced nonprofit environment.
- Serve as the primary administrative liaison between the CEO and internal teams, external partners, stakeholders, and community members
- Manage comprehensive correspondence including research, analysis, drafting, and routing of letters, documents, and communications
- Coordinate and maintain the CEO's complex calendar, strategically scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel arrangements
- Act as the administrative coordinator for Board of Directors and Advisory Board activities
- Manage end-to-end logistics for board meetings, including preparation, facilitation, and comprehensive follow-up
- Ensure seamless communication flow between executive leadership and governance bodies
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive organizational information
- Exercise sound judgment in prioritizing competing demands and managing executive time effectively
- Make informed, independent decisions within established parameters to optimize organizational efficiency
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by the CEO
- Support organizational communications and stakeholder engagement efforts
- Assist with administrative aspects of program development and implementation
