We are currently hiring a Welder to join our afternoon shift team. This role involves welding plate and structural steel in a busy, safety-first fabrication shop. You’ll work with high-grade materials, follow blueprints, and produce quality components that support major industrial projects.

Pay: $24.00–$32.00 per hour + 12% shift premium Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 4:30 PM – 5:00 AM Hours: Work 36 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing

- Weld plate and structural steel to the highest quality standards

- Operate welding equipment safely and professionally

- Perform welds in various positions and on different metals as required

- Read and follow blueprints and work instructions

- Clean welds using grinders, scrapers, wire brushes, and/or chipping hammers

- Inspect and maintain welding equipment to ensure safe operation

- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals

- Work in various environments, including at heights and in confined spaces (training provided)

- Adhere to all safety protocols and shop procedures

What You Bring

- Minimum 3 years’ welding experience (FCAW, GMAW, GTAW)

- Ability to pass in-house FCAW Carbon Steel Fillet Weld Test (CSA W47.1) and Blueprint Reading Test

- Current CWB welding tickets (asset)

- Skilled in welding in various positions and working with multiple materials

- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

- Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
